HARI SPENDS FORTNIGHT A CAUSE


Hari is a Software Engineer working in a leading MNC and works around 10 hours a day. In spite of his busy schedule, he finds 3-4 hours over the fortnight to spend time with deprived children.


Rep : What made you to take up this activity ?
Hari: I have always wanted to do something good for society, never new how, one day happened to walk through and found the board of this institution and since then spending time once in a fortnight with these children.

Rep : What do you think drives you to go and spend time ?
Hari: I Am not sure, but I look forward for the weekend, when I return home I feel satisfied, a small contribution from my end towards those deprived kids who need love and affection.

Rep : How long have you been associated with such activities ?
Hari: Around 2 yrs, initially I was on and off, but then have been steady for almost a year.

Rep : Do you think you could spread word across and get more friends for such activities ?
Hari: Whenever there has been a requirement in this institution, I just spread word to my close friends 3 or 4 and they help whatever is possible from their end. But, we need to go a long way, more and more like minded friends should join together.

Rep : What do you think is needed to get more people associated with such activities ?
Hari: I am a novice, have a feeling, majority of the people would want to help but they may not know how. We need to spread the message and get more people involved.

Hari: I have done nothing to be interviewed, but if someone reads this and feel he too can spend time, I would be happy.
