I used to meet this auto driver often. He used to drop me at our adopted school and other organisations. He asked me how I was supporting these organisations, the school we are running etc.

I happened to get the same auto to drop me for my trip to Manapparai(near Trichy). As always he initiated a chat and I told him about the new free computer center we were supporting at Manaparrai.

He dropped me at the bus stand and said "Sir, am going to purchase my own auto in January. One full day I shall be with you, you can use it free of cost to any service centers you need to. It would be my small contribution.

Feeding the poor

Mr & Mrs Mushtaq, a couple making a difference to our society. They strongly believe that it is their duty to help feed poor hungry people to the extent possible.

They take some time off from the weekly busy schedule, prepare packets of biryani and start out to feed poor and tired workers on the roads. They say, it gives them a lot of satisfaction to see these people have a good meal.

Thats not all, for any functions, celebrations at home, they do a similar exercise. They travel all the way upto Kovalam and share food packets to baloon walas and small time persons struggling to make an earning for a day.

We asked them, instead of giving food, why cant we help them earn a living ?. They replied they were feeding people who deserve a good meal. They sincerely feel this is the best thing they could do and they continue to do it with great sincerity.

Food for Thought...

There are many people to do big things. But there are very few people who will do the small things. These very humble work, that is where you and I must be.
